people are my passion

From actor, to teacher, to photographer.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I was an actor standing in front of one.

My artistic journey began in 1998 with the Seattle University Choirs, where I landed my first acting role singing “Mack the Knife” in The Threepenny Opera. After graduating in 2000, I spent the next decade performing in local theater. In 2012, I co-founded Mighty Tripod Acting Studio, where I’ve worked closely with actors at every stage of their careers.

I began photographing headshots in 2018, initially for friends and fellow actors. Working outdoors with natural light, I found early success — and quickly discovered how much I loved the process. Collaborating with actors, shaping the right mood through framing and lighting, and refining each image through thoughtful retouching felt like a natural extension of my work as a teacher and performer.

Because I’ve been on the other side of the lens, I understand what a headshot needs to do. My goal is simple: help you look like yourself at your most castable.

I love what I do — and I think you’ll love the way you look when we work together.
